on 2012-07-11 Cisco Microsoft IIS Web Server Windows Server 2008 1 Verified Solution 4 Comments 3,620 Views Last Modified: 2012-08-02 I have a server running 2008 R2, IIS 7, currently running an FTP site on port 21. I setup another FTP site on the same server, and assigned port 22. I can access the default FTP site (port 21) from both the LAN and WAN. The second FTP site 227 entering passive mode filezilla (using port 22) works from the LAN, but not WAN. I have forwarded port 22, and double checked to make sure it was open and properly forwarded from the outside. NO outbound traffic from the LAN is blocked or filtered, and there is no Firewall enabled on the server. I am prompted for a username and password when accessing the second FTP site (port 22), using either Explorer or CMD, and im able to log in, but not able to access anything. I've never had to change the port on an FTP site, so im not sure if anything special needs to be done. I've seen this error before when the server was behind a Cisco firewall (which mine is) but was able to fix it by adding the "ftp mode passive" command.
