Try & run the machine without the drive, it'll disable most features & only give you printer & copier modes (I think thats the 2 it gives). I usually do the following: 1. Cycle Power 2. Disconnect cable from computer/network 3. Reseat the firmware 4. Remove memory and add one at a time or try different slot 5. Upgrade firmware for network card (if installed) as well as printer 6. Replace network/parallel cable 7. Replace firmware DIMM, Formatter, or both (sometimes memory as well) 8. Service manual for this machine also mentions DC Controller, but I've never had to replace it for this kind of error on any other machine. That doesn't rule it out, only it's the last thing I would try.
