4d Error 10503
Paul, I would say so. Have you used any of the following commands?SET DATABASE PARAMETER(4D Remote Mode Timeout;2) // 2 minutesSET DATABASE PARAMETER(Idle Connections Timeout;30) // 30 seconds ` default for v12 is 20 secondsDoes the computer sit for awhile between uses? If there is hardware on the network that has a timeout lower than 4D Remote then you will have issues. On Mar 20, 2014, at 2:32 PM, Paul Ziegler wrote:> We have a site (Mac Lion 7.5) has randomly been getting the identical> error message from a serial port process (every few hours). Inappropriate ♦ ♦ Error -10503 Using v11 ... In a method that creates a set of records and then loops through them doing summary stuff, we often get error -10503 (record is out of http://kb.4d.com/resources/inug?msgid=GmailId144e1db7df6593ff range or the data file needs repairing) on a NEXT RECORD command. The selection of records has just been freshly created and there is nothing else running that might delete records. Within the loop there is nothing http://4d.1045681.n5.nabble.com/Error-10503-td1401461.html that might change the selection of records in any way. So I'm confident that all the records in the selection are present and correct. Any ideas about this? It only seems to happen when there is a larg-ish selection of records (say more than 800) Pat -- ************************************************* CatBase - The Database Publishing Solution tel: +44 (0) 1462 454522 fax: +44 (0) 1462 454566 w: http://www.catbase.comskype: pat.bensky ************************************************* ********************************************************************** Power, Speed, Scalability is 4D v11 SQL Upgrade today! http://store.4ddepot.com/4D Internet Users Group (4D iNUG) FAQ: http://www.4D.com/support/faqnug.htmlArchive: http://lists.4D.com/archives.htmlOptions: https://lists.4d.com/mailman/options/4d_techUnsub: mailto:[hidden email] ********************************************************************** « Return to 4D Tech | 1 view|%1 views Loading...
