Do you know a user at that domain? If you can have them send you an e-mail, then you do a 'reply', you may get a little more information. 0 LVL 12 Overall: Level 12 Exchange 6 Message Accepted Solution by:Chris Staunton2006-03-01 A message is sent to an SMTP server, the server listens for commands such as MAIL FROM: user@mydomain.com and RCPT TO: user@mail.com then it looks for things such as DATA which would be the body of the message. After DATA comes a carriage return followed by a "." then another carriage return. It seems that the mail you're attempting to send to that server doesn't send it the CR/./CR This could be from a malformed e-mail or it could be that the users mail server is having problems itself. See http://www.networksorcery.com/enp/protocol/smtp.htm for more info as well. Are you seeing this to a specific domain, or to specific users, or just everywhere? Obviously you can send mail, so is there a common thread? On 2/24/05 2:13 PM, http://www.freelists.org/post/exchangelist/500-Error-mail-not-terminated-with,2 "Ted"
