I removed the "Options -MultiViews -Indexes" line - otherwise it is the same as the distribution file. Plus there are other htaccess files in tmp, inc, js, langs etc etc All the paths to modules look OK too. Is there any way to check directives that are not compatible? Sorry this is all very new to me! Thanks again! Then go to - http://cvs.php.net/viewvc.cgi/php-src/php.ini-dist - and download the latest default php.ini file. Open it up and search for - " register_globals " - its on by default and change it to " off ". As a start make sure the .htaccess file is correct. (see above) delete the whole line, save and upload. You may need to clear cache, history etc... php.ini - you may or may https://www.boonex.com/n/dolphin_6_1_500_internal_server_error_fixed_ not, need to use a default php.ini file. What your really interested in is the "register_globals on/off" this needs to be in both present and switched off. create a file called phpinfo.php, and add the following code, to check your php config. upload to root directory and run. 2. make sure you unzip and upload the package locally and then upload it. Dont just upload the zip and decompress. This can affect the chmod of the files (ones that you wont be modifying) :) 3. if you have any php files chmodded to 777 or 666 (see 2.), it will cause the "server error" Hope this helps :)Permalink•Reply•Plus•0 plusesadinx•27th of October 2008•to lazerup Great.., after i chmod all 777 directory to 755, my Orca works now, no more 500 internal error, Thanks for the great post.Permalink•Reply•Plus•0 pluseskosmic•27th of June 2008 tried everything... still cant get it to work... pls help, im on php5 :)Permalink•Reply•Plus•0 pluseslazerup•28th of June 2008•to kosmic who's your host?Permalink•Reply•Plus•0 plusesD

If you don't have one you can either ask your host to generate one for you, or you can create one with notepad or a similar text editor. Just name it php.ini and upload it to your root directory/folder. If your php.ini contains the line: output_buffering = Off Try changing it to: output_buffering = On If it says: output_buffering = On Try changing it to: output_buffering = Off If it contains a number like: output_buffering = 4096 Try changing it to: output_buffering = On Or possibly change it to: output_buffering = Off Save the changes back to your hosting account. You can check and verify that output buffer has changed in your Dolphin Administration Host Tools phpinfo area. Additionally: If your host uses
