Regards,dhemittal@gmail.com episod 2011-08-23 14:15:02 UTC #2 Hi @dheerajmittal02, 502 errors are part of the normal range of errors you'll see from time to 502 bad time with the Twitter API, especially when fetching data in bulk. The error occurs when it takes our servers too many seconds to process the data that is being requested. It's most likely to occur during periods of high load. You can mitigate the frequency that it occurs for you by adjusting your count and per_page 502 bad gateway values down. Usually when you've made a request and received a 502, if you retry the same request a second or two later, the data will be available and returned to you quickly. episod 2011-08-23 14:24:56 UTC #3 Also, the example you link to is a little outdated in that you'll want to update the API paths to include the "api" subdomain and the "1" version, like https://api.twitter.com/1/statuses/user_timeline.xml instead of http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline.xml arthaey 2011-11-03 00:59:00 UTC #4 By limiting the per-page number of tweets to 50 instead of 200, this problem resolved for me. dewolfe001 2011-12-07 15:56:23 UTC #5 @arthaey, I have to agree with your solution-- I was sucking down 200 posts per user and almost always had a Bad Gateway result. I brought in 100 per request and my page, http://www.thosedewolfes.com/twiller now looks to work fine. system 2014-09-02 14:31:38 UTC #6 Home Categories FAQ/Guidelines Terms of Service Privacy Policy Powered by Discourse, best viewed with JavaScript enabled Developers Documentation Forums Events Blog Forums

This book walks you through the process of combining many programming tools in order to build exciting, useful, and profitable applications. You'll begin with a look at RESTful services and examine how to structure your queries, handle asynchronous operations, use headers, and post binary data. From there, author and TweetSharp developer Daniel Crenna explains how to authenticate with the OAuth specification for Web and Windows applications. Twitter is growing in popularity at a rapid pace and this book shows you how to take advantage of its programming API to build applications Explains the various ways to design a Twitter appli
