I was recently dumped behind a proxy. Since then, Pidgin 2.0.0 beta 7 (and 2.0.0) have not been able to connnect to any account. I've tried setting the Network proxy server settings to Use Environmental, SOCKS4, SOCKS5 and HTTP, but to no effect. Environmental: Status shows "Available", but all 502 proxy accounts show "Unable to connect" SOCKS4: Status remains on "Connecting" indefinitely, does not show any connected accounts SOCKS5: Status remains on "Connecting" indefinitely, does not show any connected accounts HTTP: Status shows "Available", but all accounts show "Unable to connect" I've attached the debug log files as a zip for each of these cases.
