This is not a hMail Error command. You are not connecting to a hMailServer. Check that IIS SMTP is not installed on the server. If at first you don't succeed, bomb disposal probably isn't for you! ヅ Top Display posts from previous: All posts1 day7 days2 weeks1 month3 months6 months1 year Sort by AuthorPost timeSubject AscendingDescending Post Reply Print view 2 posts • Page 1 of 1 Return to “General discussions” Who is online Users browsing this forum: No registered users and 10 guests Board index

It seems self-explanatory but, as best I can tell, I do have email implemented. I have all the email settings in the setup menu configured. I have all the email settings in the setup menu configured. This is actually an error coming back from your SMTP server (at the ISP). It sounds like you have a name and password setup in the SMTP server area and your ISP does not support the AUTH type that HomeSeer 2 is using. Try removing the name and password from the fields. Find out what type of authentication your ISP uses. Many use POP before SMTP which is good, just have HS check your POP mail every 5 mins and you are set. I used to check my yahoo mail but they started charging as did most others. __________________ -Rupp Rupp View Public Profile Visit Rupp's homepage!
