Firmware Flash ROM has corrupted it's file system, as when I scroll through rg5-7475 the error message, it talks about some .dll and .exe files being unreadable at Line xx.Are there any means of re-flashing hp 4650 51.21 error the Firmware ROM with a new file system, which would be my preferred option, or is this a strictly HP-only task which will require replacement of the whole module? The machine is well http://www.printertechs.com/printer-troubleshooting/379-51-20-51-21-51-22-51-23-error-on-hp-color-laserjet-4610-4650 out of warranty.Cheers,Steven F. Respond to this 0 Have you tried removing the JetDirect?Updating the firmware is easy, the file is downloadable through the same page as drivers, it's listed a little below the driver links. The 4650 had known issues with the firmware, and in some cases could be non-resettable if the firmware was not updated before getting an error. (finally got my main 4650 customer to http://fixyourownprinter.com/posts/43464 update theirs, they probably have 60 or so) by Stephen on Dec 20, 2006 at 6:33pm Add comment Please sign in to comment Hi Guys,Yeah, I did remove the Jet Direct Card. It's the first thing I do when the brain get scrambled on the LaserJets. While it's out I then do the reset sequences to see if it'll clear the fault. This has had a 99.99\% success in the last 10 years...until now.So what i'll do for this machine when I get back to it is:Remove all the modules, re-seat the Flash ROM and then install one Memory DIMM and see what happens, i'll keep repeating the process for each of the memory DIMMs until i've exhausted this course of action.I'll then try the Flash upgrade off the HP website, and see if that helps.I'll get back to you guys with the result. Cheers,Steven F. - stevef 0 The firmware can only be flashed when the printer is in the ready mode. Only options would be to order a replacement. First thing I would do is remove the formatter and remove the firmware and any other chips and put back the firmware and only one memory chip and
service error on the display panel. I have tried removing the formatter card and re-installing, but it persisted and i have no Jetdirect card installed on it.Please i need someone to quickly respond and advice me on what http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/43971 to do. Right now the system is out of warranty. Respond to this 0 49 errors are firmware problems, usually I've seen them be temporary though (bad print job, etc) & clear. If you hit the [check] button does it go https://www.egroup-us.com/2009/10/hp-color-laserjet-error-unable-to-store-job-at-printer-4/ to ready? if you could get it to ready then you could download & install the firmware update for it http://h20000.www2.hp.comonly thing is remember it'll need to be ready for the update to work, if not you'll need to order 51.23 error a new firmware chip. You can also try & remove extra memory if theres any they can cause it too, most likely you'll need a new firmware DIMM Q2635-67923. issues with HP Printers having difficulty printing multiple copies of a document, then please check the following to see if this helps you out: For me, I ran into an issue with an HP Color LaserJet 5550 printer and the error page, which printed out once it had successfully completed printing the first set of a 3 page document, then produced this HP job storage status page: Error: Unable to store job at printer Reason: Insufficient disk space for this job Solution: Delete some files from the disk before resending this job. For me this solution worked: (1) Go into the properties of the printer and select the Device Settings Tab (2) Set Printer Hard Disk to "Not Installed" (3) Set Job Storage to "Disabled" (4) Set Mopier Mode to "Disabled" For me, the steps listed above did the trick. You're solution work a treat. Reply Gary says: April 7, 2010 at 10:14 am My problem was on an HP 4650. First time I've had this issue and I've had about 10 of these printers for years! Found from another site to disable the Ram Disk and it worked for me. In the GUI web interface go to Settings / Configure Device / System Setup and there is a drop down menu to toggle off the Ram Disk. Reply SOC says: August 6, 2010 at 2:37 pm we just solved the problem same as in 4650dtn, which uses windows 7 system. nice try~~ thanks a lot!! Reply Derek says: June 2, 2011 at 5:57 am Thanks Travis. Worked fine on my Laserjet 5550. The HP manuals and website did not shed much light on this.
