Server shows disconected in VC. unexpected response from vmware-authd: 511 Error connecting to /usr/sbin/vmware-serverd processTried several tips from this forum1)Restart the xinetd: /etc/init.d/xinetd restart 2)Restart the mui: /etc/init.d/httpd.vmware restart 3) tried to kill the vmware-serverd process (kill -9 xxx)4) checked disk space.. not a problem..Anyone had other tips on how to solve? 13773Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. At this moment it's not a big problem because it's a non production environment.. but when it becomes production we have to switch of 20 servers to reboot esx.. (we don't have vmotion at this time..)
