MAPI, POP, IMAP. best functionality is when outlook is using MAPI for communication to Exchange. where are you trying to send mail, to internal people or to Internet? I think you are using POP/IMAP configuration and then is SMTP used for sending mail. Exchange is default configured to require authentication when using SMTP. I check the hmail log, and it is sending the error message, so it is getting to the correct address. This is most likely a simple setting somewhere, but I have not been able to find it. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong/need to change.
