530 Authentication Required Vm401
this so I'm confused. E-mails are sitting in my out box but I'm not getting any error messages. When i trouble shoot 530 authentication required godaddy e-mail settings, I get this error message: "Cannot send the message. 530 Authentication Required." I would appreciate any and all help. vote I think the problem should get solved by going to your email account settings (Tools > Account Settings > More Settings), and checking the "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" option. I check the hmail log, and it is sending the error message, so it is getting to the correct address. This is most likely a simple setting somewhere, but I have not been able to find it. I send the email from myaccount@gmail.com. Hmailserver returns the error message on the send that authentication is required. ERROR:> Not logged in. STATUS:> Connection closed. 530 Login authentication failed. ERROR:> Not logged in. STATUS:> Connection closed. 530 Password rejected. ERROR:> Not logged in. STATUS:> Connection closed. This error is usually accompanied by repeated requests for the FTP account username and password. RESOLUTION The 530error is not caused by CuteFTP.The 530 error code and the repeated requests for the username and passwordare coming directly from the remote FTP server.The remote FTP server is rejecting the username and password combination that is being submitted to it. The remote FTP server is indicating that one or more of the following three pieces of information is incorrect: Host address Username Password Double-check all three items.
