Sometimes a 60.02 error is displayed. Here is how I found my solution. I took the cover off the power 60.02 error hp 4700 switch side to see what was happening. I saw that after the tray is closed, the tray sometimes moves up over the gear that turns to raise the paper in place. That is the source of the KLUNKing noise!I thought:"How can I stop this from happening?" I drilled a small hole through a metal plate and placed a screw that rests just above a plastic

Any ideas hp p4015 printer 60.02 error A: HP laserjet 4250 grinding noise is a very common problem with these printers. Mostly it stems from the hp 4250 fuser assembly and the 4250 swing plate assembly not properly engaging each other due to worn down gears. When the gears http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/49639 become worn they will not properly align and you will start to hear the grinding noises that you are describing. Posts 725 Well, a 60 error is'nt in my manual, but it may be close to a DC issue. Did you do a few NVRAm Init's to sync up the formatter and DC? With all you replaced and it still clacks, could be just a toner gone bad. Is the MP trying to pick up too? It may be the issue. You have done everything that the service manual says to do and more. Is the tray actually lifting? I'll hand this one off to Big Al Reply With Quote 01-13-2011,10:43 AM #4 Big Al View Profile View Forum Posts View Blog Entries View Articles Senior Member Join Date Apr 2008 Location Winchester Virginia Posts 520 I'm going way out on a limb here. Sometimes we get machines that someone tried to overload the tray with too much paper then slammed it back in the print
without enough tension on it. If the spring is removed and the motor assembly is allowed to fall to the right when the paper tray is inserted the motor never engages the tray and an error 60.02 appears. However if the motor assembly is held upright while the tray is inserted the error message never appears as the motor always engages.
