Sometimes a 60.02 error is displayed. Here is how I found my solution. I took the cover off 60.02 error hp printer 4015 the power switch side to see what was happening. I saw that after the tray is closed, the tray sometimes moves up over the gear that turns to raise the paper in place. That is the source of the KLUNKing noise!I thought:"How hp 4250 60.02 error can I stop this from happening?" I drilled a small hole through a metal plate and placed a screw that rests just above a plastic part that should have stopped the tray from rising. That did the trick! No more KLUNKS. No more 60.02 errors!I took photos but I don't see how to post them here. I will forward them to you if you wish. by istech on May 22, 2008 at 8:03am Add comment Please sign in to comment Bad repair or incorrect info the

60 error would be a lifter motor error.should indicate the tray 2 lifter motor.it would be down on the lower right side.there is a spring that holds tension on top of it.if this comes off,it can cause issues.try switch trays and see if it still comes up.and make sure that tray is fully seated into place.to see the spring ,you would have to take off the right side cover, and i believe the top cover in order to get the right side cover off.could just be an issue with the lifter motor itself. - alam2020 yes my dear i'm also facing the same problem, could u pls help me to give me details i mean poto inst guidethanksnazrul - Anonymous I am using the new 4250 printer 60.02 Error error here appears online I see you also like my error, but no images to follow, please send your pictures do the steps to his success as the home!thank you! - Anonymous 0 http://www.flickr.com/photos/fixyourownprinter/I posted the pictures at the above URL.Enjoy! by istech on Dec 3, 2008 at 5:56am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 I received the same 60.02 error. I also had the annoying and scary clunking sound on loading the tray. I fixed this by loosen up the paper in the paper tray. If the paper is packed too tightly, the printer spits out the 60.02 error. Adjust the slider in the paper tray so that there is a little gap. by unknown on Jul 27, 2009 at 10:06am Add comme

a loud banging noise from the area of the lifter motor assy and you 60.02 error hp laserjet 4700 can watch it move back and forth as the printer bangs.I replaced the lifter assy and still does the same thing. I 60.02 error hp 4015 reconnected the old one without mounting it and you can see the motor turning as it attempts to lift the paper. Remember, this is happening without the assy being in the printer. No Banging but still getting http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/49639 error 60.02.The question I have concerns a lever just forward of the lifter in the paper tray guide itself. On a 4250, it is spring loaded. The P4015 I am working on does not have a spring loaded lever. I removed the paper pick up drive assy so I could see if there were any broken parts and also to remove the forward tray guide which contains this lever. No broken parts that I http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/77348 could tell but on the lever in question, you can tell there is supposed to be a spring and there is a spring on the axle that looks like a 6 or 9 without an opposing tail to cause it to spring back. The illustration for the guide in the manual does not show a spring.Moe or dmzcompute - either one of you familiar with what I am looking at? It seems to me that this lever may be the keey to the banging. Respond to this 0 the white plastic lever IS spring loaded. by eric111 on Nov 14, 2014 at 12:03pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Make sure the backstop in the tray itself is positioned correctly. If to far forward it prevents the tray from lifting all the way and can cause that knocking noise. If that is not it, then the white gear on the right side of the paper tray is probably bad. by dmzcompute on Nov 14, 2014 at 3:01pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Paper lifts all the way with multiple trays. Confirmed the spring actuated lever on a working printer. by Zeb_Carter on Nov 17, 2014 at 10:56am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Well, the sage continues.I have replaced
