MAKING A GRINDING NOISE WHEN PRINTING Q: I have an hp laserjet 4250 making a grinding noise when it prints. The printer as far as I can tell seems to be functioning fine, in the sense that there are no reoccurring paper jams or image defects. 60.02 error hp 4015 When we look closer at the machine it seems like the noise is coming from the rear 60.02 error hp 4700 of the printer. Remove the rear fuser cover.5 Using needle nose pliers unclip the plastic arm from the inside of the top cover.6 Disconnect wire harness connecting top cover to DC Controller. Remove top cover.7 Push plastic formatter cover panel toward the back of the printer and remove.8 Swing metal formatter cover out slide up and remove.9 Push plastic side panel toward the back of printer to release plastic clip on the inside while gently pulling the panel away from the top. Posts 725 Well, a 60 error is'nt in my manual, but it may be close to a DC issue. Did you do a few NVRAm Init's to sync up the formatter and DC? With all you replaced and it still clacks, could be just a toner gone bad. Is the MP trying to pick up too? It may be the issue.
