from someone who has seen this problem and successfully solved it would be appreciated. Am I possibly missing something to do with the sensor flags? They move freely and appear to be in their correct positions and alignment, but I could be mistaken. Thanks Tom Reply With Quote 01-12-2011,11:43 AM #2 MichaelTech View Profile View Forum Posts View Blog Entries View Articles Senior Member Join Date Jul 2004 Location Simi, Ca. Posts 725 Well, a 60 error is'nt in my manual, but it may be close to a DC issue. Did you do a few NVRAm Init's to sync up the formatter and DC? With all you replaced and it still clacks, could be just a toner gone bad. Is the MP trying to pick up too? It may be the issue. You have done everything that the service manual says to do and more. Is the tray actually lifting? 0 If your printer is acting like mine; every thing seems to work fine, but once in a while, hp p4015 printer 60.02 error you hear a KLUNK-KLUNK shortly after the tray is closed and the paper is rising. Sometimes a 60.02 error is displayed. Here is how I found my solution. I took the cover off http://printertechsforum.com/forum/showthread.php?3476-Hp-p4015-tray-2-clacking-giving-60-02-error the power switch side to see what was happening. I saw that after the tray is closed, the tray sometimes moves up over the gear that turns to raise the paper in place. That is the source of the KLUNKing noise!I thought:"How can I stop this from happening?" I drilled a small hole through a metal plate and placed a screw that rests just http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/49639 above a plastic part that should have stopped the tray from rising. That did the trick! No more KLUNKS. No more 60.02 errors!I took photos but I don't see how to post them here. I will forward them to you if you wish. by istech on May 22, 2008 at 8:03am Add comment Please sign in to comment Bad repair or incorrect info the 60 error would be a lifter motor error.should indicate the tray 2 lifter motor.it would be down on the lower right side.there is a spring that holds tension on top of it.if this comes off,it can cause issues.try switch trays and see if it still comes up.and make sure that tray is fully seated into place.to see the spring ,you would have to take off the right side cover, and i believe the top cover in order to get the right side cover off.could just be an issue with the lifter motor itself. - alam2020 yes my dear i'm also facing the same problem, could u pls help me to give me details i mean poto inst guidethanksnazrul - Anonymous I am using the new 4250 printer 60
about 0.5 second intervals. Reducing to 1/2 or less or 100\% full still http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/53740 gives a couple clunks, but it will lift and be ready to print.Paper load indicator looks good, gears on tray look good, inside printer the gear springs seem to center the lifter ok (I don't know what's normal or abnormal though).I can't get an error code now - it seems to always lift eventually with various 60.02 error paper loads, but does anyone know what's *going* wrong before I have a completely non-functional printer? Thanks in advance! It was causing 60.02 error codes. I replaced the lifter drive assembly p/n RM1-1750Good luck! by Anonymous on Feb 20, 2008 at 10:36am Add comment Please sign in to comment I know this is of no use to you now given the date, but I wanted to record a solution I found, just in case anyone else stumbles across it. Not seeing any damage to the tray or its lift mechanism, I replaced the lift motor with no change in symptoms. I found my solution at the following website:http://h30499.www3.hp.comThe printer was located on a sheet metal cabinet. Over the years the cabinet bowed in the center of its top and was putting pressure on tray 2 causing the symptoms you described. I moved it to a more solid flat surface and the symptoms disappeared. - besamtu Please sign in to comment HP Color LaserJet 4700 Buy discount ink Buy this printer More HP questions © Copyright 2011-2016, FixYourOwnPrinter.com, Inc.
