in the tray it seems to work fine, though I would like to fix this problem. Anyone have 60.02 error hp 4700 any idea's? Respond to this 0 You either have a tray or lifter motor issue. I would lean more towards the lifter motor. When you put in more 60.02 error hp 4350 paper the motor can not handle the weight and this is why you get the error. There were known tray issue though when the printer first came out, so you may want to see if you can borrow a tray from another machine just to see

if that solves the issue. If it does then you need a new tray, if it does not, I would go with a new lifter motor assembly. by dmzcompute on Mar 24, 2005 at 2:08pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Hmm I keep thinking it mite be a sensor of some type. I actualy read this article http://www.partsnow.com/service_today/0904.aspnot sure.. I just took it apart and doesn't seem to be the motor mount. I actualy just turned it on with the side off to see if I could see anything

more. I think I have a 500 sheet tray and well I filled it up and watched... the tray is engaged by the motor and is lifted... I watch it get lifted... I see the indicated on the left front of the tray move.. but then when it gets to the top... I see from the side the gear thats on the side of the tray jumping/skipping... basicly seems like the motor keeps wanting to raise the tray of paper more.... not sure im still looking into the site I just mentioned above. by Anonymous on Mar 24, 2005 at 2:14pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 It is not a sensor. If it was it would not work even with 20 sheets. My best guess and I have had two like yours was the paper tray itself. As I posted before see if you can borrow one. Call HP customer service and they will run you thru some tests and I am sure come to the same conclusion that it is the tray. by dmzcompute on Mar 24, 2005 at 2:54pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Hi,Our printer is set up to a network and i did notice some heavy printing done today, when I tried printing, error 49.0E00 comes up?Anyone know what this is about? Please let help me out : (Thanks! by unknown on May 3, 2005 at 5:24pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 For the tray feeder problem - HP will replace the tray with a "new and improved" tray. look closer at the machine it seems like the noise is coming from the rear of the printer. I cant hp 4700 tray 2 lift motor really see anything from that angle, but am afraid to pull it apart for fear of not putting it back together properly. Any ideas A: HP laserjet 4250 grinding noise is a very common problem http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/28029 with these printers. Mostly it stems from the hp 4250 fuser assembly and the 4250 swing plate assembly not properly engaging each other due to worn down gears. When the gears become worn they will not properly align and you will start to hear the grinding noises that you are describing. This is a problem that if not addressed will result in paper jams and an ultimate shutting down https://www.laserzone123.com/4250-error-codes.html of the 4250 printer. Replacing the hp laserjet 4250 swing plate assembly and the hp laser 4250 fuser assembly will resolve your grinding noise while printer issue HP LASERJET 4250 PERFORM PRINTER MAINTENANCE MESSAGE Q: I have an hp laserjet 4250 perform printer maintenance message on the display panel of my printer. The printer has yet to stop running but I am concerned that something bad will happen if I keep printing on it. Do you have any suggestions as to why this perform printer maintenance message has popped up and is there anything that I can do to clear this message? A: When your hp laserjet 4250 perform printer maintenance message appears on your display panel it is time to install a hp laserjet 4250 maintenance kit (q5421a). The printer is programmed to display that message after 200,000 pages have been printed out of the printer. The rollers and fuser assembly are rated for 200,000 prints give or take depending on operating environment and media. Much like any other consumable part, after a certain amount of use they are required to be replaced. Purchasing a maintenance kit and installing will get your HP laserjet 4250 running as it should. Am I possibly missing something to do with the sensor flags? They move freely and appear to be in their correct positions and alignment, but I could be mistaken. Posts 725 Well, a 60 error is'nt in my manual, but it may be close to a DC issue. Did you do a few NVRAm Init's to sync up the formatter and DC? With all you replaced and it still clacks, could be just a toner gone bad. Is the MP trying to pick up too? It may be the issue.
