Folder Redirection Access Denied Windows 10
solution to my issue. We have an SBS 2011 server running the default Folder Redirection group windows 7 offline files sync problems policy. On one computer (Windows 7 Pro x64) I am getting an "Access Denied" error within Sync Center anytime we try to do sbs 2011 folder redirection access denied a synchronization for Offline Files for only 6 files. The peculiar thing with this is that 2 of the files in question are 0 KB in size and the other four files reside in the Recycle Bin. With the http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-files/modifying-encrypted-offline-files-will-cause/6ef46af2-2428-403b-9537-a0be4d748d01 computer connected to the network and Online I can see the two 0 KB files listed but anytime you try and access them (both PDFs) an error message shows as Access Denied. I switched the computer to offline mode and sure enough the 2 files are not available offline. The four files in the recycle bin I cannot see when looking for them through explorer. However, if I go to Sync Center > Manage Offline Files > View Your https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/464706-redirected-folders-offline-files-access-denied-bad-headache Offline Files and navigate to the location I can see them listed. Removing them from there does nothing, as soon as the computer is rebooted they show back up. To note, the Recycle Bin folder is located under the "My Music" folder. Things that I have done so far that have not resolved this issue include: -Cleared the CSC using the "FormatDatabase" registry key and rebooting. -Checked to make sure that the files were not encrypted (no encryption). -Checked the permissions on the server for the folders. I would expect that if it were a permission issue that this error would occur for all of the user's redirected files. -Replaced an expired EFS Data Recovery Agent certificate as per the instructions listed here: http://superuser.com/questions/429118/offline-files-access-denied -Installed Windows Hotfix KB 2561708 as per article: http://community.spiceworks.com/how_to/show/31471-windows-7-sync-center-will-not-completely-sync-off... --Then tried 2nd step in article: Disabled Indexing, cleared the CSC, rebooted. None of the above solutions resolved the issue for me. Oddly this error only shows for those 6 files, all other files are syncing normally and without any problem. The permissions setup for the Redirect Folders on the server are set by the group policy and no-one has changed the policy or moved the Redirected Folder location. Based on the security I can't access the users files on the server. From what I understand, if I take the files over then that would break the security and cause issues with

I have user folder redirection since I've setup SBS, and things have been working fine. The Windows 7 clients used the setting correctly, and Windows setup Offline Files, and the server enables encryption of offline files. I suddenly started having a problem where new files created in offline avaible folders (such as My Documents) would allow the file to be created, but trying to access them immediately resulted in Access denied errors. Existing files were fine. I disabled offline files on my desktop and cleared the offline file cache completely. I re-enabled it, and try to sync My Documents again however every file now resulted in an Access Denied message. I can see the files just fine on the share, the errors are coming from the cached copies of the files. I haven't changed anything, this problem just appeared one day. Any ideas on how to get my offline file cache working again? windows-7 windows-sbs offline-files share|improve this question asked May 26 '12 at 14:57 Andy 143112 I don't know if you have the 90-day a
