It says: "Error No. 67 Registration failure. Your username and /or password may be incorrect. Please try again. Note: Repeated entries of an invalid password during a 24-hour period will result in a 20-minute suspension. A suspended username may not be used until the suspension expires, even when submitted with the correct password. If this problem persists, you may need to call Sprint. " I've checked several times every few hours, and I still can't get online. The Web site seems pretty useless. I really don't want to have to call anyone b/c the phone support has not been great--not horrible, but just not great. -- ------------------------------- remove "smooth" from my yahoo.com address. › See More: Access denied on Vision (Error 67) 10-11-2004,05:36 AM #2 Bob Smith Guest Re: Access denied on Vision (Error 67) "hmc"
Microsoft Azure Cloud management Menu Platespin Discovery Troubleshooting Marcel van den Berg | June 29, 2010 | P2V, Platespin Migrate | No Comments PlateSpin Migrate is a great tool but you can get frustrated when troubleshooting seemingly simple problems. When running PlateSpin Migrate server discovery today we encountered a "System Error 67 Networkpath Not Found" error. As usual PlateSpin is non-descriptive about the issue and your on your own to solve it. Since I like troubleshooting I attempted to fix it, this took quite a while ( see pic 😉 ). When frustration strikes :-( http://cellphoneforums.net/ko/alt-cellular-sprintpcs/t149836-%EC%95%A1%EC%84%B8%EC%8A%A4-%EB%B9%84%EC%A0%84-%EC%98%A4%EB%A5%98-67-%EC%97%90-%EB%8C%80%ED%95%9C-%EA%B1%B0%EB%B6%80.html We got this error when attempting to P2V a hardened Citrix server. Since hardened servers have many restrictions it was likely to be an access denied somewhere in the system. After running many, many tests I finally cracked it. To solve our specific problem I found three critical requirements necessary for succesful discovery. 1. Make sure there is an Admin$ share pointing to C:Windows (or C:Winnt) with http://up2v.nl/2010/06/29/platespin-discovery-troubleshooting/ adequate rights. Usually only local Administrators should have full control. 2. Make sure the Remote Registry service is running. 3. Discover the server using an FQDN Related Posts PlateSpin Migrate best practices No Comments | May 5, 2010 HP Virtual Connect for Dummies second edition released No Comments | Nov 5, 2010 Novell PlateSpin Migrate 9 download and documentation available No Comments | Jul 13, 2010 PlateSpin Migrate firewall port overview No Comments | Jul 17, 2010 About The Author Marcel van den Berg Add a Comment Cancel reply Your email address will not be published. When i test the ODBC connection locally on the server it works fine, however when i try to connect via windows 7 client machine i get the following error: Connection failed: SQLState:'01000' SQL Server Error:67 [Microsoft]ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]ConnectionOpen (Connect()). Connection failed: SQLState:'08001' SQL Server Error:17 [Microsoft]ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]SQL access denied on Server does not exist or access denied I think it must be a permissions thing, I've turned off the firewall for now and still no difference, 've also made sure remote connection is enabled. I can connect to the other sql server in studio manager on the new machine however, i can't go do the same in the old server, says: cannot connect to hbfsqlpro1\hbfsqlpro1 Additonal information a network related or instance specifc error occured while establising a connection to SQL server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider:SQL Network Interfaces, error 26 - error locationg server/instance specified) (Microsoft SQL server) the instance is def correct, as that is what i use to connect locally on the new machine and what it comes up on the studio manager on the new machine. STarting to pull my hair out somewhat, i'm sure it's something really
