When I searched for the msconfig.exe file - I've attached a screen shot - well, I just think it's strange but have no idea what I'm looking at. So, it could be fine. I just wanted to mention it. Any other suggestions ? Thanks Sep 18, 2009 #1 silentdeaath TS Rookie it seems u got urself some trojan or worms...try Process Explorer & Autoruns from SysInternals.. They ll help u have a look at the various processes that are executed at start up and also the currently running..Remove any suspicious ones n see if it helps..also do check the LOGON tab in Autoruns...delete any suspicious registry keys... Note: A lot of trojans, worms and viruses can & are outsmarting the Anti viruses...So try n see if u can heal ur system manually... When you are done, uncheck "users must enter password" this way windows will continue to log you on as usual... hope that helps.
