If a user receives this error while trying to access a Domino server using HTTP then that means the user is not allowed to access the server. If the user should be allowed access, then a Domino server administrator must adjust the entries in the Access Server field to include that user. Technote (troubleshooting) Problem After upgrading to Domino 8.5, you are unable to access databases with xPages. You receive domino's pizza access denied Error 500 Internal Server Error and the Domino console reports the following messages: "HTTP JVM: SEVERE: CLFAD####E: Exception thrown". "HTTP Web Server: Command Not Handled Exception [/Disc.nsf/allDocuments.xsp]". Cause Possible corruption in http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21194981 the JVM\Lib\Ext directory. Diagnosing the problem Verify the problem exists with any application containing xPages. Create a new discussion database based off of the discussion8.ntf template. Access the discussion database through a Web browser to see if same errors are reported. Resolving the problem In one case, the problem was resolved by reinstalling Domino 8.5. Before reinstalling Domino, rename or move out http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21370292 the existing JVM directory to ensure the installation will add new files. For Lotus Domino Release 8.5, on the IBM i platform (i5/OS), these errors may be seen if using the JavaUseClassicJVM=1 in the notes.ini to override the default J9 JVM to use "classic" option 10. xPages will not work using option 10, and the errors described in the document will be seen. To correct this, remove JavaUseClassicJVM=1 in the notes.ini, and instead use option 11: Package ID SI30432: V5R4M0 5722JV1, Option 11 Java SE 6 32 bit, Col 1 of 1 Display error options can also be configured in custom xPages applications to see if additional error message is returned to the browser. It is set in the Application properties under the XPages tab. "Display default error page" must be checked. Join them; access denied it only takes a minute: Sign up HTTP 500 Internal Server Error when executing client javascript in any XPage up vote 0 down vote favorite I created in my Lotus Domino server a new application which is totally empty. I then created an XPage, and in it I modified the onClientLoad event, adding this client javascript code: alert("Hola");. When pizza access denied I preview the XPage on the browser, I get an HTTP 500 internal server error. The error on the server's log is this one: 26/06/2013 12:54:27 HTTP JVM: SEVERE: CLFAD####E: Exception thrown 26/06/2013 12:54:27 HTTP JVM: SEVERE: CLFAD####E: Exception occurred servicing request for: /Pruebajs.nsf/prueba.xsp - HTTP Code: 500 26/06/2013 12:54:27 HTTP Web Server: Command Not Handled Exception [/Pruebajs.nsf/prueba.xsp] If I preview the same XPage on the Notes Client, the javascript code is run successfully. I then created a similar application in my local machine instead of in the server, and the javascript code is run successfully, both in the web browser and the Notes client. So it looks like some kind of configuration issue in our Domino server (maybe authorizations?), but we do not know where to look. javascript xpages lotus-notes lotus-domino share|improve this question edited Jun 26 '13 at 11:16 user1082944 asked Jun 26 '13 at 11:11 Carlos Munoz-Juste 72 2 Not sure, but could be a signage issue. Join Now Hi all, I have a problem with Lotus and I don't know how to solve: when a specific user try to access to Lotus Notes via web mail, he receives the following message: Error 500 HTTP Web Server: Lotus Notes Exception - You are not authorized to access that database Error 500 HTTP Web Server: Lotus Notes Exception - You are not authorized to access that database He doesn't have problem with Lotus Notes client and all the other users don't have this kind of problem. I have checked the mail database properties and they seems ok, the "Don't allow URL open" info is not checked. Do you have any suggestion?
