If a user receives this error while trying to access a Domino server using HTTP then that means the user is not allowed to access the server. Assuming the former, check the database properties to see if the "Don't allow URL open" option is set. Jon S AlbrightMar 5, 2015 11:06 PM50 PostsiNotes error 500Chad... When on the internal LAN and accessing the mail-in database from the notes client using "open other mail" it works fine. When accessing the mail-in database using iNotes via a web browser it generates the error. Using a web browser to launch: https://server.domain.complants me in the full desktop with everything functioning properly except the mail-in database. If I launch: https://server.domain.com/mail/database.nsf,it opens the mail-in database fine for reading and sending email except the interface it displays needs a lot of work. I checke

mail with slightly bigger attachment (more than 3K) user gets error: The server did not respond quickly enough. The server may be down or having problems. If this error occurs when you are sending mail, you may need to reduce size of attachments and try again. On Domino server we get error: 500 INTERNAL ERROR (The server could not fulfill the request because of an unexpected condition) Problem only occurs if connection between LAG and backend iNotes is SSL. If LAG connects to unencrypted http port everything works. We are using Lotus Domino iNotes 8.5.2 and NAM 3.1.3-247 Has anybody any idea where to start looking? Hmm...can you maybe do this at a quiet time ? I'd probably take a packet trace and start looking there. Also, check if you have tcp segment offloading enabled ? Maybe disable it if it is enabled ? -- Cheers, Edward sebastijan31-May-2011, 17:06Thank for your response.
