Her permission sharepoint 2010 access denied for all users level is "Full Control". I have tried removing/re-adding her. I have tried selecting multiple permission levels - both simultaneously and individually. Both with no luck. Have just checked, the same happens for any user with full control permissions within this site. Does anybody know what could be causing this? Today I have tried following things on server, 1] Application Management -> Manage Service Application -> Search Service application was present so I have added new "User Profile Service Application". Added spservice account, superuseraccount & superreaderaccount, "Network Service" access to "Full Control". (http://blog.concurrency.com/sharepoint/search-configuration-in-sharepoint-2010/ followed steps 8 to 12) 2] Added above user to intranet site (root:80) under user policy (Application Management -> Manage Web application -> intranet site (root:80) -> User Policy) 3] Then ran following command from command prompt stsadm -o setproperty -pn portalsuperuseraccount -pv pro1766\sp_superuser_cache -url http://intranet.mysite .com stsadm -o setproperty -pn portalsuperreaderaccount -pv pro1766\sp_superreader_cache -url http://intranet.mysite.com and restarted IIS. 4] On main site started showing Access denied error hence reverted all the above changes, 5] Deleted "User Profile Ser
resulted in one specific error that resulted in an Access Denied on one of the sub-sites. The permissions weren't http://www.sysadminsblog.com/microsoft/access-denied-in-sharepoint-2010/ changed and even the Site Collection Administrator account was denied access. https://www.dmcinfo.com/latest-thinking/blog/id/8565/sharepoint-2013-access-denied-to-root-site-of-web-application Here's what the solution was. One of the errors that I tried to fix was setting the portal super reader account for proper caching. Unfortunately I didn't take the time to actually read up on it and I just entered an account that "should" work. access denied This resulted in an error in ULS about the Navigation not being able to be properly accessed. This was directly related to the access denied error. Seems like setting the account wasn't such a good idea. So I reset the property which instantly fixed the problem.
