Usually implies invalid user and/or password. Sometimes you have to use localhost not 127.0.0.1 for this to work. –rncrtr May 1 '13 at 19:38 1 Is the password in quotes? –Patrik Karisch May 1 '13 at 22:15 3 Congratulation !!! The password need to be enter quotes. thank you very much!! How to do this post at resolved status? –mentaga May 1 '13 at 22:54 add a comment| 6 Answers 6 active oldest votes up vote 6 down vote Try to login via the terminal using the following command: mysql -u root -p It will then prompt for your password. If this fails, then definitely the username or password is incorrect. If this works, then your database's password needs to be enclosed in quotes: database_password: "0000" share|improve this answer edited Apr 23 at 0:34 answered May 1 '13 at 19:52 Pier-Luc Gendreau 6,89923151 2 I can login via terminal to my mysql server. I KNOW for a fact my DB i created, my username is correct, and my password is also correct. the only thing I can think of is that my webhost needs me to call it something other than "localhost" but i doubt it. Note to developers, this has been happening to me with a few CMSs lately. the answer is usually "go to phpmyadmin, delete this file and copy this and paste this there" perhaps wolfcms could be the first to fix it so no one has to do those things. But the thing is, there are so many different hosting arrangements, that systems like Wolf do need to ask the users to supply some values! There are always hosted solutions for those who can't quite manage that step, I suppose.Meanwhile, hope we can get things running for you. Using Wolf CMS professionally and for profit?
