When I paste a link from my site into the facebook access denied chrome "update status" box on Facebook, the preview that comes up is content from the Access Denied page (screenshot: http://cl.ly/image/0t181O2z1C0k). If I paste that same link into my browser and visit the page, not logged in, the page is accessible just fine. Other observations: - The same link, prefaced with https instead of http, works (screenshot: http://cl.ly/image/1u1U1T1A3F2B) - If I run any of

these pages through the Facebook debugger (https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/), everything checks out okay there. - After a link is checked in the debugger, it works properly in the share box, with either http or https, even if it didn't work before. - Some regular http links on the site work just fine. But not all of them. Not seeing a pattern yet between ones that work and don't work. Strange, right? Any ideas? Sometimes it would serve a page with https with Apache in the header. Sometimes it would serve it with http with nginx in the header. The support person spent over an hour on chat and said 'cannot reproduce' while I was seeing this behaviour on most browsers with cleared caches. Earlier on the same site, the Hostgator nameserver was serving up a page of advertisements in Polish on our doma

My issue is that when a user customises the required permissions and removes some of them, the WebAPI simply receives "access_denied" from either OWIN or Facebook (externally to my code). The app is also added to their Facebook http://stackoverflow.com/questions/28503266/webapi-facebook-login-returning-access-denied-when-removing-permissions account with the subset of restricted permissions they chose, which means on every subsequent login they also get "access denied". Also, because they did not successfully register with the WebAPI, I do not have a user access token for facebook so that I can remove the app from their Facebook account (to start again). The only way to fix this issue is to manually visit facebook and remove the app from your app settings page, then try again. I am completely stuck. When logging in, they enter the following method at the WebAPI and reach the return on ChallengeResult(); [Route("ExternalLogin", Name = "ExternalLogin")] public async Task

When I returned home and tried to log on to facebook, I got a message saying Access https://en-gb.facebook.com/help/community/question/?id=845651248805115 Denied. I responded to the message and have heard nothing from FaceBook despite several attempts to find out what is wrong. Does anybody have any idea why they have denied access? Help please.
