Anyone run into the same issue? Have you found a solution or workaround? ThanksOutcomesVisibility: Hydro8777 ViewsLast modified on Jun 14, 2013 1:45 PMTags:solutionsContent tagged with solutionshydroContent tagged with hydroThis content has been marked as final. Also, you need to identify the data types you are working with.StuartLike • Show 0 Likes0 Actions david.french7 Jun 14, 2013 4:13 PMHi Stuart,I am using ArcGIS Desktop 10.1 with the HEC-GeoRAS 10.1 toolbar. I am attempting to delineate floodplains for 2, 10, 25, 50, and 100 year floods using a surface elevation raster GRID. The .gdb, bounding polygons, XS, etc. were created without error, as were the water surface TINs. The error occurs when I attempt to delineate the floodplain (resulting in a raster with cell values indicating water depth)Like • Show 0 Likes0 Actions Meadmw Jun 14, 2013 5:40 PMYou can skip the georas floodplain delineation by just using your water surface TIN and a terrain TIN with this tool(link below). Intersect TIN creates a polygon of your floodplain area and a TIN of the depths. I prefer using this over TIN difference/TIN compare because it creates both files at once instead of having to set up two separate processes. It is for older versions of Arc, but still works just fine in 10.1 but it does require 3danalyst extension.http://resources.esri.com/help/9.3/arcgisdesktop/com/samples/3D_Analyst/Surface_Analysis/Intersect_Tins/88fdf0db-7dc2-44db-8614-8a6b033e12a4.htmLike • Show 0 Likes0 Actions vsfoote Jun 15, 2013 6:53 AMI am using Arc
