Please try the steps as below: 1.Ran netstat -ano on the problem machine 2.For example, if youfind the following UDP 0.0.0.0:1026 *:* 19132 This was repeated from port 1026 till 5000. ( All the ephemeral ports has been used/exhausted) by the PID 19132 3. Used msinfo 32 find out which program PID 19132 belongs t Error “Access to the path ‘E:sitesroot Web.config’ is denied” when storing Azure AD’s public key in Web.config of an Azure Cloud Services application. https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/cie/2016/01/15/error-access-to-the-path-esitesroot0web-config-is-denied-when-storing-azure-ads-public-key-in-web-config-of-an-azure-cloud-services-application/ ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ Leonardo Villar [MSFT]January 15, 20160 0 0 0 I have worked on a scenario where a Web Role application which had been working fine for a long http://www.dnnsoftware.com/forums/threadid/27380/scope/posts/access-denied-to-webconfig-file-and-no-relevant-source-lines time just started throwing the error “Access to the path ‘E:\sitesroot\0\Web.config’ is denied” without any change or update to the deployment: Looking at the error, it’s access is a bit clear that for some reason, the Application Pool identity doesn’t have some specific access to web.config file. But if we didn’t make any change to the deployment a few questions start coming into play: What is the default Application Pool Identity account for a Web Role? What permission access does this account need now? Why access is denied just now? These are very good questions and we I will answer one by one: 1)For Azure Cloud Services Web Roles, the default Application Pool Identity account is “Network Service” 2) In a normal basis the Application Pool account needs read permission over the web.config file so it can read all the application configuration. However, looking into the Security info for this config file inside the instance, we can see Network Service already has read access. So, what else does this account need? In this specific case, after we analyzed this web.config content we found a block which looks like the following: Marketing Community Engagement Ideas Answers Discussions Groups Wikis Events Mobile ReadyEvoq Intranet Governance Employee Portal Collaboration Gamification User Profiles Personalization Document Management Analytics IntegrationsEvoq: CMS FeaturesEvoq OnDemandProduct DemosCompare ProductsCompare DNN Platform to Evoq Solutions Customer EngagementMarketing & ECommerceCustomer SupportProduct DevelopmentMember EngagementEmployee IntranetOur Customers Learn More Test DrivesSchedule A DemoWebinarsWhite PapersProduct ManualsRequest PricingData SheetsCase StudiesVideosEvoq Preferred Products Content Management Ecommerce Forms Identity Management and Authentication Site Management Social Themes Partners DNN Partners Partner Directory Become a DNN Partner Community Participate Community Exchange Community Voice Community Showcase Community Forums Working Groups Members Module ContestLearn Project History Documentation Center Community Blog Video Library Wiki Development Online Help RoadmapConnect DNN MVP Community Leaderboard Community Newsletters Community Events Community HangoutDownload DNN Forge Language Packs Manuals Nightly BuildsSecurity Policies Security Center Blog About Leadership Management InvestorsNews Press Releases News Coverage Press KitCareersContact DNN Download DNN Platform Whitepapers Manuals Support Store DNN Modules DNN Themes Store Blog Evoq Preferred Services Login REGISTERBecome a DNNizen > Submit DNN Products Evoq Content Overview Content Creation Workflow Asset Management Mobile Responsive Personalization Content Analytics SEO Integrations Security Website Performance Evoq Engage Overview Community Management Gamification Advocate Marketing Community Engagement Mobile Ready Evoq Intranet Governance Employee Portal Collaboration Gamification User Profiles Personalization Document Management Analytics Integrations Evoq: CMS Features Evoq OnDemand Product Demos Compare Products Compare DNN Platform to Evoq Solutions Customer Engagement Marketing & ECommerce Customer Support Product Development Member Engagement Employee Intranet Our Customers Learn More Test Drives Schedule A Demo Webinars White Papers Product Manuals Request Pricing Data Sheets Case Studies Videos Evoq Preferred Products Content Management Ecommerce Forms Identity Management and Authentication Site Management Social Themes Partners DNN Partners Partner Directory BeAccess Denied By Pam Account Configuration
