I keep getting the following message that Bluetooth is already being used and something about the BT Stack Server. Anyone have a clue how I can fix this. btstackserver disable I am not very computer literate and this is driving my crazy! If not, then open Tools -> Options -> Advanced settings. At the bottom of this screen you should see a menu item saying “Manage other programs access to Skype”. Click on this menu. If you can see there BT Stackserver.exe, then remove this device from the list.Also open Tools -> Options -> Audio settings. What device do you see there selected as your Microphone? Is there more that one option available in the selection box? Can you see any response on the Volume bar when you make any sound? If you are not using a headset or Bluetooth headset, there is no need to leave BtvStack access Skype. Generally, if you do not know what the program that want to use Skype, deny him access. So… the ads at the bottom of the Skype screen. Get rid of them inside Skype: Tools / Options / Alerts and Messages; Deselect Promotions; done! Now, the Bluetooth btvstack.exe at the top of the screen. Oy! So, if you do NOT plan to link up your cell phone blue tooth headset (say to your Win 8 Laptop), then to get rid of these annoying btvstack.exe messages like this: Again.. Windows 8.1 - Go to Start.
