Sep 1, 2006 Hello dudes, I've a so called issue with WinCleaner Memory Optimizer software. When I try to run the program, I'll get "EAccessViolation" error message and that kind of pissing me off, you know? So now I ask if anyone have any so called tips how to fix this kind of issue, I would definitely approciate that dudes. how to fix access violation at address Here's a screenshot about that error: http://www.ipexeus.co.nr/various/EAccessViolationError.png Oh well, thanks anyways... Sep 1, 2006 #1 Peddant TS Rookie Posts: 1,446 That error means wincleaner is trying to access a memory address that it`s not meant to. One thing you could try is to completely uninstall all traces of it,then reinstall a fresh copy. In my opinion memory optimizers for XP are pretty useless. They can cause more trouble than they`re worth.Physical memory and virtual memory are what you need. Sep 1, 2006 #2 IpeXeuS TS Rookie Topic Starter Posts: 30 Ok then, but is there any way to fix this problem? Sep 4, 2006 #3 Peddant TS Rookie Posts: 1,446 As mentioned, you could try the full uninstall and reinstall route. Usually the problem is caused by a corrupted file or badly written program. Wincleaner is a long established program,so that leaves the corrupted file - that`s why I suggested downloading a new copy and reinstalling. One other cause,is when you have the wrong version of a program for your OS. That should not be a proble

Looks like you're using a non-standard shell or theming which may be the culprit. Its An 1 month old installation of windows 7 when i reinstalled windows 1 month ago i installed the networx right after(no customization what so ever) it threw same error, i uninstalled it. yesterday when wandering around saw updated version of networx thought problem might got fix so i installed it , same error again so i thought of posting it here. I have tried five different versions of networx including portable ones too they all throw same error. 2. its not customized windows believe me its a simple theme file. i have learned my lesson not to play with system files for customization. so all the system files are intact and are in their places, have'nt touch them nor replaced them i.e explorer.exe, shell32.dll 3. i already told it happened all of a sudden. i was using networx on my previous installation from more than 8 months. it was working fine no problem at all. one day i restarted my pc and all of a sudden that damn error was there and been stuck since then. Solved EAccessViolation error on start-up Posted on 2004-11-25 Windows XP 2 Verified Solutions 3 Comments 10,139 Views Last access violation Modified: 2011-08-18 I'm running Win-XP Pro SP2 and encountering an EAccessViolation error on start up of a downloaded utility Hdi.exe which shows a blinking icon in the tray when there is HD seeks. The utility works great and without problems if I invoke it manually after the startup processes finish. However, I tried to automate the utility start-up by placing it in access violation at the Start/Programs/Startup folder. Since then, I'm getting this problem about 80%-85% of the time that I power on the PC. Thinking that there might be a problem with this procedure, I deleted it and placed it in the Registry under: Hkey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. Same problem and same frequency (80%-85% of the start-up incidences). When it happens, I cancel the program, invoke it manually and it works like a charm. It's my belief that the problem is timing related since at startup I have other utilities (ZoneAlarm, Norton AV, etc.) that are competing for system resources. I sent a message to the developer more than 6 weeks ago but no answer. Question: Is there a way to do a delayed start of a program on start-up? That is, is there away to call a countdown timer program that would in turn call the utility that I have? If so, I'm almost sure that the problem would be solved via this procedure. 0 Question by:jlm003 Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 59 Active today Best Solution byLeeTutor I believe what stevenlewis is talking about is using the Sta
ProductsHomearound the homeproductivityWhat Is an eAccess Violation? What Is an eAccess Violation?By Dan StoneIf your computer registers an "EAccessViolation" error, it means that a program failed to read or write to system RAM. EAccessViolation errors don't pop every time there's a memory error: they show up after repeated errors and imply a major error in the program code. However, the errors aren't always in the code. EAccessViolation errors can be difficult to isolate unless you're a programmer working on the program in question because a combination of programming mistakes, driver problems and bad RAM cause the errors.EAccessViolation Errors Are Memory ErrorsThe operating system trips EAccessViolations when a program tries to access invalid memory. Computers need to efficiently manage system memory to keep different programs from overwriting the same storage and crashing each other. EAccessViolations are a type of "access violation," which is a memory error classification for when a programs tries to access memory that hasn't been allocated, is allocated to another program or is restricted. In order for a program to use memory, the memory needs to be allocated. Programs can recall and access data stored in the memory with the memory address; EAccessViolations typically occur when the program requests data at a faulty address. Data corruption and hardware errors can render the data unreadable and produce EAccessViolation errors as well.Programming Error Access ViolationsUnless you're a programmer, the best you can do to work around program-related EAccessViolations involves updating your programs to the most recent versions. Some programming behaviors can trip the error because the computer interprets them as malicious code. EAccessViolation programming errors can be very specific and limited in scope. For example, IBM reported an example EaccessViolation in the Rational Portfolio Manager when filling out finish dates with the region set to Chinese.Bad Driver Access ViolationsDriver errors can cause EAccessViolations. Drivers are a type of program that allow the operating system to use peripheral hardware like graphics cards, Ethernet adapters and sound cards. You can troubleshoot driver-related problems by updating drivers to the most recent versions. Unlike programming errors that isolate the errors to only specific programs, driver erro
