Frank Simmons Voted Best Answer Edit Answer (for another 9 minutes) Hi,This error usually occurs if there is no permission to Windows temp folder.I would suggest you try the below step and check if it works.Click on Start button, type %temp% and press enter.Delete all the contents in https://answers.acrobatusers.com/Keep-Unable-create-temporary-folder-Error-5-Access-denied-Acrobat-Distiller-q71560.aspx the Temp folder, then launch the Acrobat and try working with it.If the issue is not resolved, locate the Adobe Distiller folder in Temp folder and delete it, create a new folder with the same name, this should resolve this issue.Or it might occur due to no permissions to %Temp% folder, you can try giving full permission to Temp folder.Thanks.Rocky

Thanks so much in advance! Mona R 6 Answers Edit Answer (for another -29 minute) Are you printing to postscript and then dropping it in distiller into a hot folder. If so where is that hot folder?Or Are you acrobat distiller error printing from acrobat or trying to create a PDF from another program. If so, where exactly are you trying to target the printed PDF to? Sean Mitchell Edit Answer (for another -36 minute) Im trying to print from acrobat and adobe reader. And I try to print to PDF. Mona R Edit Answer (for another -20 minute) What are the version of Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader are you using?Unless they are X and both fully updated, I would uninstall Reader. George Kaiser Edit Answer (for another 14 minutes) I have Adobe Reader X and Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard and both are updated. Mona R Edit Answer (for another -25 minute) And Adobe recommends against using mixed versions of Acrobat. Uninstalll Reader and repair Acrobat and see if that fixes your problem.Acrobat and Reader share many files but they can be different for different versions so have mixed versions can easily result in the wrong code being run to perform a given task. George Kaiser Edit Answer (for another -40 minute) I uninstalled both and reinstalled Acrobat but I still get the same error message.
