The goal of this post is to discuss what causes lingering objects and show you how to download, and then use the new GUI-based Lingering Object Liquidator (LOL) tool to remove them. This is a beta version of the tool, and it is currently not yet optimized for use in large Active Directory
my production environment, when I perform "repadmin /replsum", I get the following error how to force active directory replication from one of my domain controller. (8606) Insufficient attributes

were given to create an object. This object may not exist because it may have

been deleted and already garbage collected. Remark: This is the example of my production domain controllers. Then, I perform "repadmin /showrepl". There is a https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/askds/2014/09/15/remove-lingering-objects-that-cause-ad-replication-error-8606-and-friends/ problem of ForestDnsZones in CONDC01. Ichecked the Event log of Directory Services. I found thereare a lot of event logs which are Event ID 1988 in CONDC02. By default, Windows Server 2003 SP1 or later which is a domain controller is enabled "Strict Replication" to prevent to replicate the http://terrytlslau.tls1.cc/2011/10/repadmin-replsum-8606-insufficient.html lingering objects. For more information about "Strict Replication", please read the following web sites. According to KB2028495, there are some Lingering objects in the Forest DNS Zones of CONDC01. For more information about "Lingering objects", please read the following web sites. Replication is crucial when dealing with one or more domains or domain controllers (DCs), no matter whether they're in the same site or different sites. Problems with replication can lead to authentication problems and problems with accessing resources on the network. AD object updates are replicated between DCs to ensure all partitions are synchronized. In large companies, having multiple domains and multiple sites is common. Replication must occur within the local site as well as the additional sites to keep domain and forest data the same between all DCs. I'll show you how to identify AD replication problems. I'll also show you how to troubleshoot and resolve four of the most common AD replication errors: Error -2146893022 (The target principle name is incorrect) Error 1908 (Could not find the domain controller) Error 8606 (Insufficient attributes were given to create an object) Error 8453 (Replication access was denied) Along the wa
