Retrieves some stuff from db. I have the dll registered. No source code tho. –Broken Link Jan 10 '11 at 17:35 Try writing a small .vbs file that create the object, just to rule out problems in the component itself. Maybe the components depends on some outside file, ODBC registry, etc. –Eduardo Molteni Jan 10 '11 at 19:24 This links may help 15seconds.com/faq/Errors/476.htm and 15seconds.com/faq/Errors/362.htm –Eduardo Molteni Jan 10 '11 at 19:27 | show 2 more comments 6 Answers 6 active oldest votes up vote 2 down vote accepted You're not going to fix this in ASP. Microsoft has a KB article on troubleshooting the error located here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/194190 share|improve this answer answered Nov 5 '09 at 16:38 maniak1982 536520 add a comment| up vote 0 down vote More information here on MSDN. Quote from the page regarding your error: For example, when an ASP 0115 error occurs, the browser and IIS log may display: error 'ASP 0115' Unexpected error /[Web Name]/[ASP file name].asp A trappable error occurred in an external object. The script cannot continue running. When the error displays on the returned ASP page, you know: The page that caused the problem. An exception occurred in an external object. share|improve this answer answered May 6 '09 at 9:12 RuudKok 4,68021724 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email discard By posting your answer, you agree to the privacy policy and terms o
