Active Sync Tmobile Mda Error
who just received a new T-Mobile MDA device. We are trying to set up the e-mail synching with our Exchange 2003 SP2 server (single Exchange Server). I go through all the motions of setting up the proper settings on the MDA, and when I try to sync through the ActiveSync, I get the 85010014 error message. I have tried a number of things already. I made sure that Exchange Server was properly patched up to service pack 2. Windows 2000 Server is properly patched up to service pack 4. I have read KB article 215383 and have confirmed that bother Kerberos and NTLM protocols are supported on the server (the server is Windows 2000 SP4). I have also read KB article 817379, talking about the ActiveSync errors. I have tried doing the Method 2 resolution, but I am not sure how to proceed, since with Win2K, you can't "Save Configuration to a File" to set up a new virtual directory. If anyone knows how to do it with Win2K, I'd be greatly appreciative! When the ActiveSync attempt is taking place, an error in the server event log, Event ID 3031, is being generated, which I know refers me back to KB817379. We are using SSL and the certificate is self-signed, and I believe that I have properly put the certificate on the MDA device (if someone has a proper procedure on how to do that I can refer to to make sure I did it right, that would be much appreciated). So my question is, how can I get the ActiveSync to work in our scenario? Top Unable to sync T-Mobile MDA with Exchange Server - error 85010014 by Vincent Cl » Tue, 13 Jun 2006 21:48:12 I've actually looked at that page before, and still no luck. I've even turned off SSL checking (at least I think I did) and still nothing. What I'm really trying to find out is how to set up a new virtual directory, like is mentioned in Microsoft KB article 817379 (method 2 resolution)
