If you have paid for the product, you can contact the Lavasoft support team. Which antivirus program (or recently uninstalled) and firewall do you have? Are you sure that the Ad-Aware installation program is allowed by the firewall to fetch files from internet? Is the computer connected to internet through a proxy server? Proxy server settings: Start Internet Explorer. In the Tools menu select Internet options, followed by Connection tab and then click the LAN Settings button. If the check box Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings will not apply to dial-up or VPN connections) is selected, a proxy server is used. If you haven't configured it yourself, it can be due to an infection or an antivirus program. Please, remove the check mark, if you want to use Ad-Aware, and click OK twice. Unable to uninstall or reinstall Ad Aware 11 - Error "Couldn't Create Process" Started by Andy98 , Jun 11 2016 06:23 PM Please log in to reply 7 replies to this topic #1 Andy98 Andy98 Newbie Members 4 posts Posted 11 June 2016 - 06:23 PM I need help uninstalling Ad aware 11 I get the error message "Couldn't Create Process" Ad aware version I'm using is Ad Aware 11.11.898.9090 The reasons this is happening is because I made the following mistakes I uninstalled Ad Aware 11 using a third party uninstaller that removes the program and cleans up any extra files left behind (I think it's registry/driver). The uninstallation failed and deleted some background files part of Ad aware I think. Result was I still had ad aware working on my computer, but I couldn't uninstall it as it was no longer in the control panel or the 3rd party uninstaller program. I tried running the ad aware installer to repair ad aware but I got the error mesage "Couldn't Create Process" I then deleted the Lavasoft folder in the Program Files folder on the C drive of my computer hoping I would then be able to do a clean install. Which didn't change anything. Afterwards I restarted my computer and Ad aware did a small installation by itself and reinstalled the Lavasoft folder back into Program files, however it contains much less than data then before so some files are missing from there. Afterwards I decided to find help and found these forums I have been following this thread http://www.lavasofts...create-process/ I tried using the ad aware stand alone installer but also get the same error message. Here are my logs and adaware zips I still have the Ad aware 11 Folder in Program Data Ad aware temp files in Temp Folder Ad Aware 11 folder in Program Files I want to uninstall adaware completely from my C drive (SSD) and install it on my storage drive (HDD) with other
