reinstalled my OS to Win7 x64 (It was really necessary) and now i can`t launch the game. every time i try to run launcher.exe I get the "Unable to load application configuration" exception. i`ve read all threads about the same http://www.swtor.com/community/archive/index.php/t-685459.html issue and tried every solution (like start game from safe mode with networking or as https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5298914?start=0&tstart=0 another user profile). I have no AV software installed and no FW running (except windows firewall) Also there is no logfile in log folder created. My PC Specification: Intel core i7-4770K, 16GB Ram, GeForce 630GT, BTW. The same exception occurs when you try to install 32bit version of Adobe FlashPlayer on 64bit systems!! Bronholz10.03.2013, 10:25 AMGreetings fothehorde, adobe flash Thanks for contacting us. Have you tried the Launcher Repair utility? You can find the steps here (http://www.swtor.com/community/showpost.php?p=6087771&postcount=2). Thanks for your patience. fothehorde10.03.2013, 11:17 AMOf course i tried. and also clean install. I say it once again: i tried everything that was suggested in other threads I wonder why there is no log to figure out what causes such exception Bronholz10.03.2013, 01:25 PMThanks. I would assume that you're now using the streaming launcher adobe flash player setting? You can check this by looking for 'ST' in the bottom corner. This won't create the same launcher logs as the standard launcher setting will. Could you provide a list of the steps you've tried thus far? This way we're not going to suggested things you have already done. Just in case this isn't on the list, please make sure that you have downloaded all the latest updates for your new Windows copy. It may also be worth trying a Clean Boot (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135) to see if the issue persists in this mode. Thank you. fothehorde10.04.2013, 03:08 AMOk. Here my steps: Windows copy is up to date. The latest directX and drivers installed. .Net framework 4.5 and IBM Java RE 6 installed. Adobe Flash installed. VCRedist 2008 x64 and x86 installed. I tried clean boot, i tried to replace the latest (yesterday version) version of launcher from another PC (with also x64 OS installed). I tied safe mode with and w/o networking. I also tried to change "PatchingMode": to "{ \"swtor\": \"BT\" }" The result is always the same :( OwenBrooks10.04.2013, 03:17 AMJust to check you are using the updated repair utility and not an older version ? http://cdn-patch.swtor.com/patch/LauncherRepairUtility1_75_5.exe also the line PatchingMode": to "{ \"swtor\": \"BT\" }" is PatchingMode": to "{ \"swtor\": \"BR\"

It's unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, or by corruption of certain system caches.Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can't do this. Ask for further instructions. Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won't work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow. The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you've forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.
