Everything was fine and dandy. Then, I decided that I should edit together a series of similar .mpg clips with PPro1.5 and animate my edited clip with AE CS3. I set up my PPro project files in the same folder as my AE project. Half-way through

the edit, I decided to abandon the PPro project and go back to the original AE animation that I'd been working on. However, when I opened up AE this time, my original .mpg clip had been replaced with color bars as a placeholder even though my animation layer was fine. Now, .mpg files don't even show up unless I choose "Show All Files" (vs "All Acceptable Files"). And even then, when I try to import .mpg's, I get the following error: After Effects: AEGP Plugin AAF: Error occurred while creating project. Anyone know what's going on here? Thanks in advance for your help. -R 3423Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Show 2 replies 1. The files weren't linked, but the project was, and as soon as I reconnected the files, it worked correctly. Now running Final Cut Pro HD and After Effects 6.5 I get the message: [ QUOTE ] After Effects: AEGP Plugin AAF: Error during parsing: Invalid document structure (5027 § 12) [/ QUOTE ] Then when I close that dialogue I get: [ QUOTE ] After Effects: AEGP Plugin AAD:error occurred while creating project. (5027 § 12) [/ QUOTE ] Has anyone else been able to get this to work? I was able to with Final Cut Pro 4.1 and FCP 6.5, but it just doesn't work now. I know there is FCP to AE plugin from Automatic Duck, but I don't have the $500 right now to spend. -Jonah Lee Walker AVID Media Composer & Final Cut Pro Video Editor After Effects Artist Tags: None Previous Next Footer Collapse Help Contact Us Go to top Powered by vBulletin Version 5.2.4 Copyright © 2016 vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
