It keeps crashing AE and I am not sure what to do to fix this. Possible causes: Seems to be related to handling compressed media. CoDecs may use fixed memory areas to store there compression algorithms which may then end up outside the reach of the host program. What sort of video files are you using? You might try converting them to lossless Quicktime or AVI files. - The Great Szalam (The 'Great' stands for 'Not So Great, in fact, Extremely Humble') No trees were harmed in the creation of this message, but several thousand electrons were mildly inconvenienced.Return to posts indexReport Post•Re: After Effects Error: Bad Tracked Memory IDby soheil sigurd on Oct 6, 2010 at 8:45:40 amHello, I keep getting "Bad Tracked Memory ID" error. No, doesn't mean anything. Just that there's "something up" (in technical terms: some piece of memory suddenly turned "invisible" and AE can no longer access it). If it only occurs sporadically, I wouldn't worry. Mylenium dbag33305-14-2007, 06:42 PMwhat if it happens repeatedly. Even after changeing after effects settings, allocating more disk space to cache? I have been trying for the past 1.5 days to render this project out. Its also following the Cannot Create Image Buffer error. this is only when redering, and stops the render. The past few times, when I go the frame where the render experienced an error, the image will preview. Yesterday, the image would not preview, and would give me the same error experienced during the render. thanks for any help. -dbag mackdadd05-14-2007, 08:40 PMhttp://www.simplycg.net/viewtopic.php?t=1507 click on that and scroll to the bottom of the thread. Even after effects when Im not doing anything its running at 100% on both cores. Its becoming to be very frustraiting. Could it be that its the trial version of Afer Effects 6.5? Or is it because the software hasnt been encoded to use a duel core CPU? Or could it be the crappy 81.xx drivers for the video card? Im lost, and I don't think it should be running like this. Whats normal for a cpu to run at while in After after effects error Effects? I have no programs running in the background either. And when I open up max, photoshop, or illustraitor the cpu runs normally. The project im working on is for school, and I have minimal animation, 20 sec to be exact with tiff., targa, and movie files and sequences. No heavy effects, just a couple of masks, and all animation is done by position, rotate, and scale transforms. Because when I imported them from the Bin to the timeline and try to save it, an error message comes up saying "After Effects Error: Bad Tracked memory ID ( 23 :: 35 )". Then when I click okay another one pops up saying "AfterEffects: AEGP Plugin Windows Media Import: aftereffects error: 0 x 2 ( 5027 :: 12 ). Th
