CherylAJames Aug 8, 2010 5:50 PM https://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/312909.html I keep getting this error when trying to RAM preview my file. It happens at different places each time. I don't have any Photoshop files importing into my movie. I just have Maya file sequences, a music clip and three solid layers with filters applied to them.I'm using AE CS5 but everything else Photoshop, etc. is CS4. I didn't have this issue when using https://forums.adobe.com/thread/696408 AE in trial. This is stopping me from rendering my movie. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks. Mylenium Aug 8, 2010 10:52 PM (in response to CherylAJames) I don't have any Photoshop files importing into my movie.Yes, you do, because of:I just have Maya file sequences,AE labels all files that are handled via specific importers as "Photoshop Files". Anyway, since you did not provide any information on what your files actually are, where you store them, what render settings you use in Maya etc., this can only end up in pointless speculation and I'm not gonna waste my time on it. Provide some more details and then we may be able to get an idea what might be wrong.Mylenium Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. Re: After Effects error: Photoshop file format error 1. (45::35)??? I'm lost, after effects error and I'm sure its a common error and I hope people know the answer on cgtalk ;) Mylenium03-12-2009, 06:00 PMGood question... Never used Targas in Maya way back then. Always rendered to 16 bit SGI. Could you provide a frame for analysis? Barring that - mangle it through fcheck and convert it to a different format. Mylenium Qual03-12-2009, 07:33 PMMylenium thank you for the reply! Fcheck is a software I just googled it, but is it easy to covert 500 images at once? or I need to do it 1 by 1? And will I lose quality of the image? I still hope for a fix of this problem...hope someone can help me out by just doing something in AE. Mylenium03-13-2009, 06:22 AMYou simply open the files as a sequence in fcheck, then save it to a different format. Check your Maya docs for specific usage instructions. Mylenium meyers3d03-27-2009, 03:25 PMI sometimes get that error if I have a bad frame, make sure all your rendered images are complete and in the correct order with the correct naming conv
