I used a still image: TGA / 40 MB / 4752x3368 Working with AE CS4 is a once in a blue moon thing around here, so I wouldn't think I would have done anything to the program https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/kb/troubleshoot-opengl-problems-effects-cs4.html to damage any part of it. I keep getting Open GL error messages. The program was working fine at first, then 30 minutes into my project it just started hesitating on every single move I tried to complete. After 30 minutes... when I would attempt a brush stroke, the stroke would not take effect until about 5 seconds later. If I tried to do 2 brush strokes at once then the lag would get worse until I got the error messages. It would preview when https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/2/1008353 I clicked the space bar, but it was unusually slow compared to the few times I used it in the past. There were no other QT or any graphic programs open. When I dropped the image into a new composition I think it auto defaulted to 10 to 15 seconds. I only worked with 4 seconds of it setting the key frame at 4 second following the tutorial. I thought towards the end if I shortened the clips down to 4 seconds, with the out point at 4 seconds it might help matters. I reduced Resolution/Down Sample from the auto THIRD, to Quarter. And still no progress. Would it be OK for me to uninstall it then reinstall? Would that screw up the current project I'm working on or would it just relink once I reinstalled the program? I started to paste the crash report below. After I did I thought it was way too big to post unless somebody wants me to. I don't want to just paste something that large like "HERE READ IT!" or anything like that :) Thanks for any info. Vinnie Vinnie --- 24, LOST, Prison Break, FRINGE, Supernatural, DEXTER, Breaking Bad, CHUCK, Flash Forward, HEROES...even SMALLVILLE in the latter seasons.. they've all ruined my movie going experience by being better than so many movies out today.Return to posts indexReport Post •Re: While invoking rendering AE CS4 Crashed - OpenGL Error ( 5065 :: 0 )by Walter Soyka on Oct 16, 2011 at 2:12:33 pmIf you
