We have attempted to restore the database and it fails giving us the error: "Internal consistency error occurred." We have run the restore verifyonly command with the results: "The an internal backup set is valid." However, I don't have confidence that the verify is telling the complete story. It appears that the database is restored and the overall restore is failing on the transaction log file. Any help is appreciated. This is rather urgent. In any case, I doubt you can do anything about it at your end.You need to go back to the external company and have them verify the backup first. If it's good over there, send it again and have a new go.If it's the same over there, then they need to produce a good backup that you can use. /Kenneth Marked as answer by Ed Price - MSFTMicrosoft employee, Owner Monday, January 27, 2014 1:20 AM Friday, September 14, 2007 8:18 AM Reply | Quote Moderator 1 Sign in to vote Hi, Have you tested restore headeronly ?
