But you lose configurations of your workspace. =( –Fernando Gomes Feb 18 at 18:46 See stackoverflow.com/questions/31080665/… –Florian F Jun 16 at 17:06 add a comment| 14 Answers 14 active oldest votes up vote 93 down vote accepted I solved mine by deleting the .settings folder and .project file in the project and then reimporting the project. share|improve this answer edited Jan 27 at 16:33 entpnerd 1,283523 answered Nov 12 '13 at 23:00 user2985381 95442 2 This saved my day, Thank you! –Javatar Nov 13 '13 at 11:46 3 I tried many things, and it was the .settings folder that did it for me. –simon Jan 6 '14 at 3:35 This helped! But, because I was using Workspace Resolution to resolve some pom dependencies to a project in the same Workspace, I had to disable Workspace Resolution, then Disable the Maven Nature, then re-enable Maven on the project. –mcolley73 Feb 13 '14 at 22:42 Thanks! This worked for me as well! –

Eclipse EE then turned completely fray like in the image. I even tried downloading a new version but it an internal still looks the exact same. I assume the IDE's section is the right place for this? Sometimes this error occurs because of an an internal error intermittent error. If that's the case, closing Eclipse and re-opening solves the problem. That doesn't seem to be the case here. The other cause is that your workspace is corrupt or refers to a plugin that got messed up. Try clicking details in case there is anything useful in there. If not, you'll need to create a new workspace. You can copy the projects from the old workspace folder to the new workspace folder and import them as Eclipse projects. (Or if they are in version control, you can just check them out again.)
