Unsupported IClasspathEntry kind=4 up vote 62 down vote favorite 28 As the title mentioned I have the following problem: I use Eclipse with Maven Nature and when I update my Maven Project, I get this error: An internal error occurred during: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15065093/an-internal-error-occurred-during-updating-maven-project-unsupported-iclassp "Updating Maven Project". Unsupported IClasspathEntry kind=4 The solution that always comes back is the following: rightclick project, remove maven nature mvn eclipse:clean (with project open in eclipse/STS) (sometimes they suggest to do mvn eclipse:eclipse next) rightclick project and reenable maven nature Now I exhaustively tried all combinations several times. But I always keep getting the above error. The error starting occurring when I had to mvn eclipse:eclipse the project. Before it was always running fine using only m2eclipse features and setting everything in eclipse. eclipse maven m2eclipse pom.xml share|improve this question edited Jun 25 at 9:11 sudo bangbang 2,87631434 asked Feb 25 '13 at 10:42 Vjeetje 2,89021433 What Eclipse version are you using? Have you identified the suspicious classpath entry in the .classpath file? How does it look like? Maybe it is added by some Eclipse plugin. –SpaceTrucker Feb 25 '13 at 12:31 I'm using Eclipse SDK,Version: 4.2.1,Build id: M20120914-1800, doesn't the .classpath file get deleted by mvn eclipse:clean? I added the .classpath file in the original post. –Vjeetje

For input string: "Local A" Then following an "edit current location" and logging out of notes, I get the leaving error: An internal error occurred during: "Updating location information". For input string: "Local A" A symptom I have is that the location selection list (bottom right an internal error of screen) only has the current location in it, yet when I "edit current", my NAB (Contacts Db) opens with the entire list of locations available. My desktop PC on XP works fine on R8.5.1. I first had this error on R8.5.0, but still got it when I reverted to R8.0.2. Now its still there in R8.5.1, (which by the way I could only install on both PCs after manually gutting the registry of about 200 legacy Lotus Notes entries). So, is eclipse the suspect?
