I have tried reinstalling Edge with PowerShell: Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml” -Verbose} But didn't solve the problem. I also read that removing navigation data could fix the problem, but attempting that also produces an error. From this MS answers thread, netsh winsock reset completed successfully but didn't solve the problem The 2nd method describes how to reset IE settings, not Edge settings. I also tried: Remove %windir%\SystemApps\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe Restore it with sfc /scannow Reinstall Edge with the PowerShell command above It's worth noting sfc /scannow tells me it was unable to some corrupt files. We did a windows upgrade on our application server and after the upgrade application is not loading in IE browser. We are getting blank page. In Google chrome everything looks an internal error fine. I was checking if some IE setting is required but the interesting part for me is we have deployed the application on our production server and upgraded the server. The application is available on internet and if I am trying to access on my local machine then also the same issue so definitely it is not the IE setting. Can someone help and let me know what may be the reason for this. windows internet-explorer share|improve this question edited Jan 22 at 7:27 asked Jan 22 at 7:08 user3541321 217 add a comment| active oldest votes Know someone who can answer? When I debug in IE's dev tools, it points to code regarding localStorage. if (localStorage) { // some code } else { // some code } I'm not sure whether this is an angular-IE issue, or if it's just IE related. Thanks in advance! javascript angularjs internet-explorer-9 local-storage console.log share|improve this question asked Apr 29 '14 at 21:48 call_de_amberlamps 516 possible duplicate of check if localStorage is available –Ian Apr 29 '14 at 22:04 update: I ended up finding that this is most likely an issue with CORS and IE9. I've looked into using XDomain (github.com/jpillora/xdomain) but am not too sure on what's being referred to when the mention slave and master domains. ANy ideas? –call_de_amberlamps May 1 '14 at 15:50 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 1 down vote Are you running your app locally? IE9 doesn't support local storage for local files. There's lots of further explanations from this question: local storage in IE9 fails when the website is accessed directly from the file system share|improve this answer answered Apr 29 '14 at 22:05 johnh 312 I'm testing on our dev server not locally, but still keep getting the error. –call_de
