This is nothing to do with my production network and is purely for testing/disaster scenario purposes. So far I've done the following: - Set up and configured a dummy exchange environment - Two mailboxes and sent a few emails an internal processing between each - Took a backup of Exchange using ntbackup - Rebooted into Safe Mode Command Prompt and deleted the entire contents of the Exchsrvr\MDBData folder - Rebooted the server back into Normal Mode. - Checked ESM and information store dismounted as expected. - Set the store to allow a restore - Opened ntbackup and restored the stores - no errors at all - Opened ESM and tried to remount the mailbox and public stores I get the following message each time I try and mount the stores: "An internal processing error has occurred. Try restarting the ESM or the MS Exchange Information Store service, or both. All services running." All of the services are running and I have restarted the server. Any ideas what I can try next? Protection for Domino Restore domino; restore; ans0238s; "rc = 419" Technote (troubleshooting) Problem(Abstract) During a Tivoli Data Protection for Domino restore to an alternate, rebuilt, or upgraded Windows system, the following error may be reported: ACD0003S An internal processing error has occurred. Symptom The restore fails, and no other errors are reported in domdsm.log. Cause The database is a different bitlevel than the system on which the restore is attempted. Diagnosing the problem To trace the problem behavior, run the following command from a DOS prompt in the Tivoli Data Protection for Domino directory, to bring up the GUI with tracing: domdsm /traceflag=service /tracefile=x:\path\to\tracefile.log Then run the restore again. If the following lines appear in the trace, then the issue is most likely that the user is attempting to restore a 32-bit database to a 64-bit system, which is not supported: domconsu.cpp (1309): No errors were detected but the entire database was not restored domconsu.cpp (1438): Exit consumeToDbFile(), rc = 419 Resolving the problem Restore the database in question to a 32-bit system.
