Windows 7: DirectX install error - An internal system error occurred. 17 Dec 2011 #1 callumshell1 Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit 3 posts Oban DirectX install error - An internal system error occurred. I recently re-installed windows and am now trying to install the DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010). All goes well, it installs everything, but as it finished I https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yVciwuoK_Y get this error: I have tried redownloading, using other installers and updating my graphics drivers. Nothing will work. It's probably worth mentioning that the first time I tried installing, about a week ago, my computer totally froze in the middle of the install and I had to force restart. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? The 1st thing I would suggest would be to run the System Files Checker. SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker See if it finds and corrects any errors. Also, see if you locate the 2 dx logs mentioned, in the windows directory, and post them here, or just the text if they are short, which they may well be. Hello Hello Everybody, I've been waiting to post this, lookin' for the geeks forum, because I sure haven't figured this part out. So here's the situation: I tried to install DirectX 9.0c two an internal times from two separate download locations and files. Both installations failed with the error message of, "The software you are installing has not passed windows logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP. This sofware will not be installed. Contact your system Administrator." Just because, I installed it three more times. But with the same disappointing results. What is a system administrator, and how an internal system do I contact them? What do they do? And will this help to solve the problem? Setup: "An internal system error occurred. Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log in your windows folder to determine problem." I looked at the log files and I don't see how this can help me. It doesn't tell me anything that I already don't know!!! Installation end. Installation failed. I Need the DirectX 9.0c Digital Signature from the "Designed for Microsoft Windows" logo, which seems to be a device driver I guess. It has to pass the window's logo test to be able to install ---James T Kirk Reports: · Posted 4 years ago Top warlock Posts: 4100 This post has been reported. http://www.nidokidos.org/threa.....-Into-Safe Read this.
