an Internal Error Loading the SSL Libraries” Paul Ryan | March 5th, 2015 | general One of the my friends asks me for the solution of SSL error that he was receiving when he opens the MS Outlook as shown below: The Error prompting the message “The application experienced an internal error loading the SSL libraries”. After clicking on the button View Certificate I got the following information. After looking at the issue I have found the issue that is occurring due to the storage system clock which is skewed by more the 5 Mins and causing the error “The Application Experienced an Internal Error Loading the SSL Libraries” as users attempting to connect to the network are facing problem in the authentication due to the breaking of Kerberos I also founds that the Users Application data folder was also redirecting to the share on same storage appliance is also causing the problem. More issues resulting in the Error are: 1). If the Outlook is not able to validate the SSL certificate will result in the error and will try to prevent the client from the Exchange. 2). If there is a lack of the access to app data folder will affect the validation of the SSL certificate. Resolution of the error “The Application Experienced an Internal Error Loading the SSL Libraries” 1). Correct the storage system clock and check whether the issue is resolved or not. 2). If the issue still persists, then purchase a new valid certificate if you don’t have. For MS Outlook 2013 try the process given below Create a new Registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\AutoDiscover “ExcludeHttpsRootDomain”=dword:00000001 For MS Outlook 2010 Create a new Registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\AutoDiscover “ExcludeHttpsRootDomain”=dword:00000001 Conclusion: In this post I have discussed main causes and possible resolution of the error “The Application Experienced an Internal Error Loading the SSL Libraries”.
