6, 2007. Guest Guest This error keeps occurring. I have deleted the distribution list and re-created it but to no avail. Any suggestions??? I believe all the email addresses in the list to be valid and did http://www.pcreview.co.uk/threads/an-unexpected-error-has-occurred-using-a-distribution-list.2956861/ re-create the list with the same name. I haven't tried recreating under a different name. I need a suggestion asap. Thanks. -- Cindy Guest, Jan 6, 2007 #1 Advertisements Guest Re: 'An unexpected error has occurred' using a distribution list I had the same problem and just now figured it out. My new distribution list did not exist. THAT is when I put the list name in the to field, the OLD an unexpected list name was coming up (which was very similar to the new list name). once I limited it to the new list name, all was fine.
