It will then identify that you have already installed the latest version of iTunes and it will give you the option to 'Repair'Click that and see what happens.CG Helpful (0) Reply options Link to this post by Derailed Again, Derailed Again Mar 3, 2008 8:41 AM in response to papajay Level 1 (0 points) Mar 3, 2008 8:41 AM in response to papajay I have the same frustrating problem with my new Inspiron 530 running Windows XP and a TSST H653B DVD + RW Burner.Reloaded itunes several times, installed all recommended Dell drivers and fixes and nothing works. My old Dell machine worked fine and my 600+ tunes are now unavailable to me for burning. Roxio's drag and drop almost worked. When trying to finalize the burn and eject the disk everything locked up, cpu, DVD drawer, Roxio, itunes, etc. Had to do a hard shut down and reboot to extract the disk.Help..any ideas out there? I am not alone with this issue and it doesn't

An unknown error occurred (2615)." I can then retry or go to the next disc burn. Retrying does not fix the problem. So far I have been able to backup about half of my music (4 CDs), but the other 4 I need to burn give me this error message. The only advice I can find about this error suggests upgrading from 7.3, but I am already using the latest version of iTunes (7.3.2.6). I am burning onto Memorex CD-R discs. Any help would be greatly appreciated! 08-19-2007, 12:23 PM #2 cjmnews Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Arizona Posts: 8,185 permalink Apple will ask you to try different discs. If one fails put it to the side and use another. Have you backed up your iTunes

I'm currently researching the problem myself, since my husband has it on apple itunes error his laptop. Research indicates that it is an Itunes problem - mostly with the latest version - version 8, I believe. Some laptop manufacturers seem to have developed a patch [but not Acer, the maker of my husband's laptop.] Elsewhere, a couple of people have managed to get round the problem by using a CD-RW instead of a CD-R - and this is the solution that we will try tomorrow, before panicking too much. Another solution that i've found is to back up your itunes library, then delete itunes and reinstall it. Cds can still be written [apparently] using media player - but unfortuately i have no idea how to get WMP to play songs from the itunes library. I strongly suspect that its not possible. Not very helpful, sorry, - but if someone has a better solution, i would be delighted to read it. __________________ Love Imp x impis View Public Profile Send a private message to impis Find all posts by impis Bookmarks Digg del.icio.us StumbleUpon Google Facebook « Previous Thread | Next Thread » Thread Tools Show Printable Version Display Modes Linear Mode Switc

Whenever I try to burn a CD from a playlist I've made on iTunes it works fine until it actually has to burn a CD and then it says Error 2132. I don't get it, iTunes doesn't have it on FAQ or anything. Any help would be awesome cause I kinda wanted to make a CD for my Dad for Father's Day.... Update: Thank you for the suggestions. But I think I had to break it to do so. Roxio no longer recognizes my drive as a viable burning location, but I didn't use it anyway. Its up to you. Here's what I changed: 1. I went into the registry and removed the upper and lower limits (the upper limits look like they were set by GEAR, the apple engine ppl). 2. I deleted itunes and re-installed it (again, I had tried it before). This re-established the upper limit. 3. I had been using imation CD+R cds, I went and spen
