Re: AcroDist.exe Application Error Bill@VT Jun 9, 2011 11:46 AM (in response to txpat) Since you have reinstalled, I will not bother suggesting a repair. However, I will suggest another reinstall. However, do it in this order1. uninstall2. remove all of the left over Acrobat folder (typically under Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat x.x)3. run CC or the MS installation cleanup utility and cleanup the registry4. consider running a virus scan again at this point5. then reinstall and hopefully that will fix it. I just started getting acrodist.exe - application error: The instruction at xxxxxx referenced memory at xxxxxxx. The memory could not be "read". Did a system restore from a couple of weeks ago. Didn't help. Downloaded the Adobe Prof 7.1 upgrade, didn't help either. How do I get rid of this? I cannot create any .pfd files now.
