the Inspiron E1405 & applied all Windows Updates.I then downloaded the BIOS Update (" MX61_A10.EXE") & ran it as Administrator & I receive the following error;Quote:MXC061 BIOS Flash A10An unexpected error occurred while running the Flash application. Please reboot and try again.I've rebooted several times & tried the installation again with no luck. I also downloaded the file twice more in case the file itself was corrupt.I then booted from a Windows PE based CD (BartPE) & received a similar error when running the executable from Windows XP, so I don't think the error has anything to do with it being run from a Windows 7 environment. Thoughts?~Dave[RESOLVED] -- It looks like when I ran the BIOS update the first time without elevating to administrator, it created a Registry key that causes the problem.
